Satellite won the District 8-2A track and field championship on its home track Friday, edging Cocoa, 224-223. The Tigers won the girls competition, 204-198.

At Holy Trinity, the Tigers girls team finished second in District 8-1A with 118 points, behind Oviedo Master’s Academy (193). Master’s, with 166 points, also won the boys competition. Florida Prep (85) was third.
