Brazilian satellite operators have 30 days to claim compensation for frequency migration

Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has given satellite operators a 30-day deadline to register their fixed service terrestrial stations for compensation for leaving the 3,625 to 3,700 MHz frequency spectrum, which will be allocated for mobile services. Satellite operators will be entitled to compensation according to the number of stations they have registered on Anatel’s database 30 days after the publication of the decision in the Official Gazette.
