Buenos Aires-based Orbith, a wholesale provider of high-speed internet services, has announced the launch of satellite-based broadband in underserved parts of Chile. The company said customers in the regions of Coquimbo, Valparaiso, Santiago and Del Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins can now access the internet via Ka-band satellite at speeds of up to 200 Mbps. A number of affordable plans will be available under the Hogar and Soho portfolio, added Orbith.
